Self Care Week with the Dyslexia Association of Bexley Bromley Greenwich & Lewisham
The Dyslexia Association have regular open meetings which are free and open to everyone.
Join them on Wednesday 15th to hear from guest speaker Arran Smith.

Topic : What technology is there to help parents & teachers support Children?
Arran will be talking about Assistive Technology (AT) which supports everyone with dyslexia - primary and secondary - and other neurodiverse conditions, using free and paid for solutions. There's always something that you can try tomorrow!
Arran is a dyslexic entrepreneur who was diagnosed with severe dyslexia at 9 years old, along with other tendencies of neurodiverse conditions. During Arran’s working life he has worked in many industries including previously working at the British Dyslexia Association. Arran’s career has continued in the field of dyslexia with him now being the owner of Trugs, Managing Director of the SEND Group Ltd and Founder of the Dyslexia Show Ltd. Over the past five years Arran has continued to work in the education and SEND field, more recently with Microsoft as the UK’s Dyslexia and SEND Consultant. With a special interest in technology, Arran uses Assistive Technology to support his dyslexia needs daily.
Our meetings also provide a great face-to-face opportunity for parents/carers, teachers and tutors to swap ideas and get mutual support, in a relaxed and positive environment.
There is no need to pre-register or book; our meetings are free and open to members and non-members, refreshments available.
