Self Care Week! Come along and find out about the MA Centre’s environmental initiative, ‘GreenFriends UK’ at Amrita Hall.

GreenFriends UK is a culturally diverse group of like-minded people who meet up for green events such as

• seed swaps
• ‘Get Growing’ courses (for beginners who want to start their own veggies gardens)
• tree planting
• hedge restoration and more.

We encourage people to adopt heritage seeds at our annual seed swap and share the seeds they grow to preserve the species.

We also encourage people to make an ‘InDeed’ pledge - to make small changes in their lives, such as carpooling or growing their own food.

What’s on offer during this Table event?

Information on our upcoming events such as Get Growing courses or tree planting initiatives. Our Get Growing manual and Let’s Grow Seeds manual (essentials for beginner growers!). Fresh and dried produce from the centre’s Shanthi garden. An opportunity to make an 'InDeed Campaign for Nature' pledge to make small steps to protect nature and our environment.
